Brandsight is currently accepting Sunrise and Landrush registrations for .Madrid through October 1, 2019.

The .Madrid TLD is being marketed as a gateway to the Internet for the organizations, institutions, companies, citizens and Internet users operating or having an interest in the region.

To qualify for a .Madrid domain name, registrants must be able demonstrate that they:

1. Are a resident in the Community of Madrid;
2. Perform a professional, personal, commercial or cultural activity in the Community of Madrid; or
3. Have a direct or indirect nexus with the Community of Madrid. And, additionally, that the use of the .Madrid domain name requested:
4. Is generally accepted as legitimate;
5. Contributes to the wellbeing of the Community of Madrid; and
6. Corresponds to the role and importance of the domain name.

To submit for a Sunrise registration, registrants must provide a valid SMD file.

One-time costs to submit for Sunrise and Landrush are $225 per domain. Registration and renewal fees are $95 per year.

First-come, first-served for .Madrid begins October 10, 2019, and costs for registration and renewal will also be $95 per year.
